Stamping of metal sheet threads
The stamping of metal sheet threads is suitable as a cost-effective method for joining thin sheets by means of a sheet metal screw. Only two operations are required for forming: Perforation and forming. The stamping of sheet metal threads is suitable for sheet metal screws in accordance with DIN or special dimensions as well.
Notes on manufacturing
- The possible thickness of the sheet s is 0.8 – 1.5 mm.
- The thread D and hole P depend on the respective thicknesses of sheet S.
